Operating in all 50 states and overseas, the United States Air Force Admission Liaison Officer Program consists of retired and active military officers, civilians, and reservists. These individuals visit colleges, high schools, civic groups, and science fairs to teach students about joining the United States Air Force.
Led by Liaison Officer Directors, this initiative assigns Admission Liaison Officers to a specific geographic region, usually near their homes, where they become the primary Air Force representative in that community. The job entails inspiring people to join the military, in particular the United States Air Force, and teaching them about the importance of duty to one's country. As recruiters, they identify youths most likely to be interested in this option and encourage them to consider this path.
